Welcome to the Youth Media Alliance Awards of Excellence page. The competition and gala are held annually in May, alternating between Montreal and Toronto.
The next Gala will be held in Montreal on May 22, 2024, when YMA celebrates its 50th anniversary.
In December of each year, YMA opens the entries for the next Awards of Excellence. The competition is open to Canadian youth productions whose original language is French when held in Montreal, and English when held in Toronto, and which were broadcast in Canada between January 1 and December 31 of the previous year.
