The Youth Media Alliance (YMA) is dedicated to enriching the lives of Quebec and Canadian children and teens by helping to improve the content available to them on all screens.

In pursuit of its mission, the Alliance offers continuing professional development opportunities tailored to the specific needs of youth production artisans through workshops, seminars and internships.

Since 2015 YMA has offered four scholarships: the YMA Andra Sheffer Scholarship which includes the YMA Thérèse-Pinho Scholarship, the YMA Steven DeNure Scholarship and the John Rooney Fund for Creation as well as the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship.
