Montreal, November 27, 2024 - YMA invites the youth media community to a cross-Canada forum, presented virtually in English and French, to discuss the realities and challenges we face, on December 12, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. and/or to submit a discussion paper by December 10, 2024.
With multiple consultations taking place across Canada in the coming months, YMA believes it must contribute to the conversation. As an organization, we represent the interests of our young audience as well as all members of the creative community.
We invite our members and people from the industry to share the issues you face in this virtual meeting. YMA is here to represent the need for high-quality, age-appropriate youth content created, produced and presented by Canadians. As the industry contracts and the regulatory environment undergoes enormous change, it's time to remind everyone of the unique needs and interests of children and youth media.
We invite anyone in the children's media industry who would like to contribute, to share your ideas, concerns and concrete solutions for the future of our industry.
