Montreal, February 22, 2026 – Today marks the opening of North America’s largest international market for children’s content. The Youth Media Alliance (YMA), along with its partners, is pleased to lead the Canadian delegation at the Kidscreen Summit, taking place from February 22 to 25, 2026, at the Sheraton San Diego Resort, thanks to the renewed support of Creative BC, Ontario Creates, the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), Telefilm Canada, and the Canada Media Fund (CMF).

The Youth Media Alliance (YMA), along with its partners, is pleased to lead the Canadian delegation at the Kidscreen Summit, taking place from February 22 to 25, 2026, at the Sheraton San Diego Resort, thanks to the renewed support of Creative BC, Ontario Creates, the Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), Telefilm Canada, and the Canada Media Fund (CMF).
More than 128 Canadian delegates, representing 86 Canadian children’s content production and broadcasting companies, will meet with buyers and potential partners at the Canada Pavilion, taking part in over 300 business meetings across four days, reflecting a significant volume of activity
In addition, participants will attend conferences and special events organized by Brunico during the Kidscreen Summit. This annual event has quickly become the world’s leading conference on children’s entertainment, regularly welcoming more than 1,800 participants from around the globe. Key decision-makers and dealmakers gather to engage in dialogue, build networks, and discover new ideas to help grow their businesses

Espace Canada to Welcome Several International Delegations
As part of the Kidscreen Summit, the Youth Media Alliance invites industry professionals to an International Delegations Coffee on Monday, February 23 at 8:30 a.m., at the Canada Pavilion. This friendly gathering aims to encourage direct and informal exchanges between international delegations and Canadian delegates. Delegations in attendance will include Animation Ireland (Ronan McCabe), Animation from Spain (ICEX) (Pablo Barea), KOCCA – Korea (Hyunseok Kim), UK@Kidscreen (Lauren Bartles), and UniFrance (Jeanne Louisa Hermel). This morning event offers an ideal opportunity to initiate new contacts, strengthen existing collaborations, and explore new opportunities before the official start of the day.
Activities will also kick off with a welcome meet-and-greet hosted by the YMA at the Espace Canada on February 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
