YMA celebrates the most innovative youth productions from the latest PRIX JEUNESSE INTERNATIONAL festival, held every two years in Munich. The YMA Prix Jeunesse is an educational tool that transmits the creative and stimulating atmosphere of the festival worldwide. In the years when the Munich festival takes place, YMA integrates screenings of the award-winning programs into its programming at its annual conference. In intervening years, the videos can be viewed in the WAN media gallery.
This year, YMA offers an exclusive selection of award-winning television programs from last May's Prix Jeunesse International, including productions from the Americas, Asia, Oceania, Europe and Scandinavia. It's 23 videos in four blocks. It's about seeing what's being done internationally.
The day will be hosted by Judith Beauregard from Tobo Studio and will be conducted in French and English. Interactive moments, such as games based on the reactions of young viewers, will punctuate the various screening sessions.
The YMA Prix Jeunesse 2024 is presented with the support of the Shaw Rocket Fund.
